Menopause arrived like a new dashboard light.

Not a warning, but an invitation.

To slow down.

To recalibrate.

To honor the wild wisdom of my body that had carried me through decades of devotion.

I stopped chasing youth and started courting vitality. I let pleasure be my compass.

Now, I treat my body like the Ferrari she is.

Not for speed, but for sensation.

For curves.

For the way she hums when I honor her.

She's not broken.

She's brilliant.

And she's always been trying to steer me home.

About the Creator

Shannon Lemire

Writing is a part of who I am.

I go back and forth between handwritten lengthy journaling and sitting here glued to my laptop.

As inspiration hits, I write and follow the intuitive nudge.

You'll see many sides of me here.

I hope you enjoy.
