A steady drum on
the roof of my heart
springs a leak
water falls frenzy
breaching trusted
trusses tremble
walls wail
slippery slopes
slide sideways
thunder flashes
blinding
lightning crashes
deafening
words trickle
like a rain chain
pulling raging rivulets
from the roof
of my heart
onto tierra verde
I catch a glimpse
of what cannot
seen
intrinsic
in the raindrops
drip drip dripping
off my hair
onto
parched feelings
it feels good
to be out
in the rain.

This was sooo beautiful. Loved both your poem and the video!
The rain is the fireworks of the gods. The pattering sound of the raindrops is the cracking sound of the fireworks. Fireworks are set off once at each station
