Moving

To places new and old

Going back home after a long time away

Or going somewhere bold

Moving

Is a task unto itself

Just gathering all of your stuff

And slapping it into boxes

That hopefully you remember to label

~

Moving

Sometimes it's wanted

Sometimes it's forced

Regardless new beginnings

For better or worse

~

New lands and new sights

Or perhaps old and familiar

To move takes a lot of courage

But hopefully it's always forward

~

The world went into lockdown three years ago now and it sparked a small revolution. People realized their lives were stagnant and had come to a standstill. Now more than ever people are packing their things and setting sail for new horizons. For better or worse many of us are moving forward. What about you?
