Is the sky dark tonight?

Look up, can you see it?

Across the blissful starry blanket,

Our world reformed by light.

Below our feet, the cold grass crumbles,

Clench our hands tight,

Our teeth chattering against our jaw,

Cold night, I can see you.

Upon the sky there is so much more,

There is something beyond my sight,

And though I look around me,

I can see there is not end tonight.

There is a world just like our own,

Not cold, not warm, somehow just right.

I feel inside this blissful sky,

A world of colour, not at all a dark night.
