Coffee in the morning

Red wine in the evening

Sunset out the window

Starlight on the ceiling

There’s nothing more precious than being alive

With even just one sense, let alone five

Fireplace embers throwing a spark

Fireflies dancing their dance in the dark

It’s subtle and primal, the magic of things

The whirring of crickets, the flutter of wings

Lantern at midnight

Soft wind at dusk

Blue mist at twilight

That person’s sweet musk

Wonder can heal, and wonders never cease

The world has a heartbeat; our senses bring peace
