This is awesome. I never considered myself a poet until I found Vocal-- and still really don't. I'm constantly learning from the best here, like you, Lisa. I *love* that this reads like an opening paragraph for some fantastical story. I could see other authors (including myself) making this a string of lines... instead of this tight form.
