In the land of my belly, a rumble and grumble,
A hungry revolt, a tummy in trouble.
It growls and it gurgles, a symphony of need,
For food that's delicious, my hunger to feed.
It starts with a murmur, a soft little plea,
"Hey there, dear owner, have you thought about me?"
I ignore it at first, go about my day,
But the rumbling persists, it won't go away.
It's a hunger uprising, a protest in jest,
My stomach's a rebel, it won't take a rest.
It's like a little creature, a beast in my core,
Roaring for snacks, it can't take it anymore.
I try to be strong, to resist the call,
But my tummy's persuasive, it knows how to enthrall.
It speaks in a language of rumbles and pings,
A Morse code of hunger that only food brings.
I head to the kitchen, my fridge is the goal,
To satisfy the beast that's taken control.
I search for a snack, something tasty and funny,
To appease the rebellion in my hungry tummy.
Maybe a sandwich, a pizza, or pie,
I'll eat it with joy, and a contented sigh.
For in this stomach uprising, in this humorous plight,
I'll conquer the hunger with a tasty bite!
