Can you remain when the world feels wrong?
When the ones you love start to fade.
The forest darkens, you’ve lost your way,
Will you break, or will you stay?
Can you remain when the poles reverse?
One foot down the rabbit hole.
Times image warped in a picture frame,
When it all seems out of control?
Can you remain when the axis flips?
Serpents writhe on the forest floor.
When the endless paths are looping back
Can you be still and endure?
Can you surrender as time runs away,
and logic falls apart?
Can you be the snake who sheds its skin
and find yourself in the dark?
