The Lovers

a poem

By M. LeePublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

He slides between her splayed legs,

Giddy with laughter

Intoxicated with love

Her eyes glimmer with adoration

Happiness tickles her insides

Prickles her flesh

They lay entangled with each other

In a joyful embrace

Tongues moving,

Fingers trailing nether regions

Drifting off onto canyons

Dipping deep in hot springs

Sending rippling waves of pleasure

Into the air

A lovers serenade

“Get a room!” You cry

Your wife wraps her hands around your children’s eyes

And you race off

To

the

Far

End

Of

The

Park

While the lovers

frolic
