The Lucky Speak

Finding light and love in a world reimagined

Read it as it’s not as it is, for this is how the lucky speak.

I've pondered long in quiet thought,

What fuels the joys that we are taught.

They speak of kindness, bright and true,

Of dreams fulfilled and skies of blue.

At school, such tales would weave their thread,

Of love and hope, of lives well-led.

Mum, inspired, sought wisdom’s light,

To fill our hearts and guide our sight.

And questions bloomed, they paved the way,

To brighter truths that led the day.

To my sister, I dared to share,

A vision clear, a world so fair.

Could “the good” in stories old,

Be not just myths from hearts consoled?

But deeds so warm, so full of grace,

By human hands in every space?

Imagine acts so kind, so pure,

That love becomes the only cure.

A force that shines through darkest tide,

Where hope prevails and fears subside.

Perhaps it’s not just luck or fate,

But choices made to elevate.

Ambition tempered, hearts aligned,

With dreams fulfilled and peace enshrined.

And as the glimmer lights our way,

We find the joy in each new day.

A testament to lives well-shared,

To bonds we’ve built, to times we’ve cared.

So read it as it’s not as it is,

For this is how the blessed speak.

Where truth and love together rise,

To turn despair to open skies.

For what if love could break all chains?

What if we chose to heal the pain?

To seek a path where kindness reigns,

And lift each other’s hearts again?

For in the end, it’s not the “how,”

But what we choose, the here and now.

The light’s not distant, hard to see,

But grows in us—our destiny.
