where the only voices are songs
where a cool breeze is
felt against her skin
through the rolled down windows
by the harbor
boats in the bay
waves crashing against the seawall
stars in the sky
the moon shining bright
it’s the place
where her thoughts come alive
where nothing else seems to matter
and where time has no meaning
that’s where she feels free
where silence is solace
and everything stops
even just for a second
that’s the place.
