In the slivered space
between asleep
and awake
she whispers
across the silence
only the soul can hear
of the stories
of sparkling stars
songs of the universe
magnificent
melodic
symphony
dark split by light
her hair becomes
heartstrings
her eyes become
flowing stardust
celestial portals
to the unseen
dimensions
her breath becomes
the air within
she breathes beyond
the beating
heart
into the tired soul
she sings life
in silent
reverberation
over the weary mind
only the soul can
hear her voice
as she prays the dark
into shattered shards
gleaming harmless
in the light
she watches over
she is forever
waiting
in the slivered space
between asleep
and awake
the untold her.
