Time

A time will come,

as time always must,

it comes to set the sun

and turn pretty things to dust.

But a thing is not beautiful

because it defies the hands of time

the hands that mould it,

the hands that shape it,

that command it to learn.

A thing is beautiful

because when life commands it

to be cruel,

to be cowardly,

to be unfeeling,

It makes a choice, a single choice, one choice

one single moment, a heartbeat in the cacophony of eternity!

For one glorious, awesome moment, among the trillions that

make up a thing.

A thing chooses to be kind.

Time will come

and all good things will pass

but the good deeds we've done?

Those are the things, that time will allow to last.
