there is no feeling like it on the earth
there is no describing what it is worth
you will treasure the date of it's birth
of your Top Story
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
whether it is your first
you never loose your thirst
for the pride you want to burst
for the star in all its glory
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
its something we all crave
the path that writers pave
we are all perhaps a slave
to the next top story
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
your excitement pours out of it seams
however, what does it all mean
have you lost your steam
to write a top story
t^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
kudos to the vocal team
they read endless stories it seems
seeing which ones are pristine
to be a Top Story
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
the feeling can't be described
it's the same far and wide
its like your favorite type of pie
to get a top story
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I still get a giddy feeling when I get a TOP STORY

The Light Turns
It's Tuesday 7:13 a.m. A cold and clear November morning awaits Ray on his morning commute. Ray rubs his hands together in the front seat of his Subaru. He turns the air temperature up, but keeps the air on low until the air warms up. He looks at the backup camera screen and reverses the Subaru out of his driveway onto Trimble Road.
