Totality

an ecliptic

Totality

Escape with me from the spy of heaven that seeks out lovers' trysts -

Come hide away under cover of the moon for she alone keeps our secrets,

Lending her shadowed heart to shield from prying celestial eyes.

Innocence and intrigue toy with the hem of propriety, shy fingertips exploring vague boundaries,

Pressing bold with hunger for first contact -

Satiate starvation with a surreptitious feast of sighs,

Emerging from our obscura only when the fiery wheel has winked into totality.
