Un-Wilting.

Growth begins when you water it.

Un-Wilting.

You fumbled in the darkness, a place where others lived in light.

You foraged days for warmth, embedding through the night.

-

You’ve searched for many years; now let that be enough.

With love, this wasn’t wasted time, it shaped strength and made you tough.

-

But strength is just an ally, it’s no purpose for your soul.

So stitch up your roots, un-wilt your leaves, this soil plays no role.

-

Dig up from the earth, walk the horizon and embark.

Yes, your seed was sown there but nothing blossoms in dark.

Rain and soil nutrition sure helps. But willpower of the seed is very important too.

Inspired by words my best friend told me some time ago, "Sometimes when you're in a dark place you think you've been buried, but you've actually been planted"
