We Need MLK Speech Again
Tribute To MLk
MLK Tribute
Black people fight against their own
Sadly, we have a leader who cannot teach
compassion...........
America has lost its way
What makes a nation great?
What makes a Nation Great?
Who is God to a nation??????????
I stand corrected every day of my life
That's what kept me humble
Can I ever be accepted for just being me??????
Jealousy
Is
Everywhere............
Fear and
Hate
Is
Mankind's worst enemy.........
It's their emotions
That gave them the illusion
To act in violence..............
Why can people accept everyone????????
Will people keep protesting until everyone
Is accepted?????????
Is there a need for a revolt???
Will a peaceful protest be enough
for everyone to be accepted??????
Black has been against
their own.......
There I said it!!!!!
Will there be a revolt
On MLK Day??????

( I've picked this MLK's speech because it's appropriate to what is happening today. Americans have not respected all Americans because of poor leadership these days. We need this speech in today's modern America.)

So great!! Congrats on the well-deserved TS. 💜
This was a powerful and very needed poem. Our world needs a lot of reminders to let go of pointless hatred and just love each other. Nicely written.
This is very powerful, even for someone like me who doesn't keep up with global news. But history likes to repeat itself, so we repeatedly need people to remind us about what is important.💖
Wooohooooo congratulations on your Leaderboard placement! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
Fear and hate, oh, how I wish people only knew love. Excellent piece, Mariann! Congratulations on your important top story and for making the leadership board this week❣❤
This really made me pause and think. The questions you raise feel heavy, honest, and very relevant right now.
Nothing is more aligned with MLK's iconic line about living in a nation where your children "will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character" than having a leader that dismantles the racist, sexist DEI policies imposed on us by neo-Marxists who push CRT and it's hierarchy of oppression.
Back to say congratulations on your Top Story! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
❤️❤️❤️This is Magnificent for a Top Story Congratulations 🎊 👏
The line that hit me hardest was “Fear and / Hate / Is / Mankind's worst enemy” — it’s such a simple truth, but reading it like this made me feel the weight of it in a way I don’t usually let myself pause on. I also felt that tension you pointed out about people fighting against their own; it’s uncomfortable to admit, but I’ve seen it happen too, and it makes MLK’s message feel even more urgent today. When you wrote this, were you thinking more about reminding people of what he said, or about calling attention to what you see happening now?
Powerful work Mariann! Wolves stand down!
It'd be nice if we all got along as humans and looked past the color of our skin.
I absolutely agree, Mariann. And how it (our president) can’t see past his own treachery. He doesn’t understand the importance of unity. At all. Great work!
Powerful poem!
WOWl He was a great speaker. Powerful. We need him NOW ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for being a light
It’s deeply sad what’s happening in this moment :-(
The parallels are real! ⚡️💙⚡️
It's a shame what's been going on and what has been going on. I hope for better days to come
