We’re all fake
Inside and out
Over baked from this emotional drought
Never taught how to interact
Always giving the wrong reaction
Oh well
On to the next distraction
Just for one last hit at possible satisfaction

Over baked from this emotional drought - sadly this is too often true. Well put 👏
Oh, this was poetic gold, Atomic Historian!
I guess we're all fake in one way or another. As long as we're not lying to ourselves, I guess it's okay!
Fake--always trying to decide which mask will win us the prize we so desire when what we most desperately need is to be seen, accepted & loved for who we are with no masks at all.
Outstanding!!! 💕♥️♥️
