Take a touch of quirkiness
And sprinkle it on an idea;
Make it twee but don't overdo it,
Just a pinch, to taste.
Gently stir with humour
Until light and fluffy,
Soft smirks visible
With a swirl of childish delight.
A shake of the head
Confirms the presence of whimsy
But is not essential for flavour.
Serve warm on a plate
Decorated with flamingoes
And a peacock feather garnish.
Voilà!

Cute & whimsical… especially the peacock feather 🦚.
A recipe for whimsy! How clever
This reminded me of a favorite poem of mine, Truth Serum by Naomi Shihab Nye. A recipe for something mystical and enticing!
