Look in the mirror, do you have long arms like a monkey

Grandpa does have some long arms, doesn't he

You, Grandpa, and Monkeys have a few charms

Grandpa does have a few charms and long arms

This monkey is a bit grey

Grandpa is a whole lot grey, and hey

You aren't grey at all, right, honey

He may not be a real monkey

but he certainly acts like a monkey at times. He

eats bananas, climbs trees, and searches for honey bees

down by the river. Grandchildren are not monkeys

Most of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren know

who the monkey is, it is grandpa, right? Tell Grandpa grow

up, Grandpa! They all know his calling them a monkey

really is, what he thinks is a cute nickname, see

that he can tease you with, when we all know the real monkey is he!
