Wishing You The Best

Not All Friends Are Friendly

By Earl W. PearlPublished about 8 hours ago 1 min read

Very few are wishing what’s considered best for you

Most of us have clearly got some devil deep inside

See, sometimes there’s no limit to the evil people do

So each of our achievements is a target to deride

Jealousy and envy are the lifeblood in their veins

They would rather die before they ever wish you well

The undermining jockey who keeps tugging on your reins

My belief is getting stronger in an everlasting Hell
