Women are strong, resourceful, resilient, and courageous.

Women can endure the most horrendous physical pain, through birth, miscarriage, monthly menses, backache, joint pain.

Women can endure emotional pain, the pain of rejection: rejection from family, rejection from children, rejection from lovers and friends.

Women can endure the emotional pain of loss: loss of children, loss of pregnancies, loss of friends, loss of family, loss of support from those who were once emotionally supportive to her.

A woman can pick up and leave an abusive relationship with all her children in tow.

A woman can choose to give up her child through adoption so that this child might have a better life. Even though it may kill her inside.

A woman can bury her child and still move forward. Somehow.

Women can bury their partners, husbands, wives, and still live for decades and thrive during those years.
