Dream Log #9
This was a dream from last which I think was triggered by bumping into somebody I used to work with. She has retired from the care home I used to work with. I feel a bit too exhausted to try and make this short dream to make it over the 600 word count requirement from Vocal, so I will convert it into a poem so it will will automatically pass the filter and I feel like writing a poem because the imagery felt nostalgic and daunting at the same time.

Dear Susan ~ "You are not Alone" ~ You are a marvelous storyteller, but it is not about the 'Pennies,' it's about the joy of creating, and that we actually can. *I've subscribed to you with pleasure. I've asked the Vocal Brass many times for a 'Senior' category, with no response. Sadly, we are in the out-to-pasture Generation demographics. Seniors love to interact with one another with their favorite long-term memories. Susan, I actually give 'Creative Writing' sessions to Senior Centers, helping residents write 'For their Kids Someday.' It's very meaningful to me: Perhaps it's something you might explore.
