Your Birthday

A Decade Later

By Susan PaytonPublished 12 months ago Updated 12 months ago 1 min read

You were beautiful the day you were born

You taught me to be a mother

You always smiled at me with that incredible grin

You kindness and love towards others was what you were known for

You loved children

You loved your Mom

You loved your fellow man

You loved your country

You loved your brother

You loved your niece and nephew

Your loved your step-daughter

You were kind beyond comprehension

You were a joy to me and everyone that knew you

Why a gunman took your life I will never understand

God gave you to me, my special gift

You have been gone a decade now

Happy Birthday My Precious Son

I miss you every day
