Your Scars - You're beautiful

Your Scars - You're beautiful

My mirror reflected a piece, scratched but alluring

It looked suffered but internally —curing

The scar seemed to be begging for love

It's eyes said,'I want to fly like dove'

My Glass showed me the dark reality

'Scars' wanting justice for faced cruelty

The world hated them, they need pity

Not one person but the entire city

It wasn't piece, It was me in the reflection

Do I accept them? Was actually my question!

A voice from my Shadow said ,'accept them- be dutiful'

Your Scars, You're star —and You're beautiful!

Author's note;

Inspired by the song 'Scars to your beautiful'

There's a hope that's waiting for you in the Dark!

You should know you're beautiful just the way you are!

You don't have to change a thing, The world could change it's heart!

This poem dives into self-acceptance, using a mirror to show that our scars are part of what makes us beautiful. It echoes the message of "Scars to Your Beautiful," reminding us to embrace our imperfections and find strength in them. It’s a simple yet powerful reminder that we’re all worthy just as we are.

  • This was so powerful! Loved your poem!

You have such lovely words to express the importance of self-acceptance and inner beauty. This poem certainly teaches us that true beauty doesn’t come from the outside, but rather from the depths of the soul. You’ve done an amazing job, my dear sister! 👍✨
