It was early the next morning when Ted felt Dallas get out of bed. "What's up?" He groaned mostly asleep.
"I need to get home before my father wakes up." Dallas sighed.
Ted sat up. "I'll give you a ride." Ted rubbed his head. He could see that Dallas was frowning. "In the car." He kicked his legs off of his bed and tugged on some clothes.
"You don't have to, this was great, and I hope we can do it again." He smiled warmly at Ted.
"I know I don't have to..." Ted stood. "I want to, and how about later, we drive into Iberia, and go on a date, where no one knows who we are..
Dallas smiled. "I'd like that a lot." Ted made sure he got Dallas's number and took him home. Ted laid in bed, realizing that he had ignored his phone all day. He slid it out of his pocket and noticed Trish had called three times and texted him a dozen times. He read the texts and laughed.
'No... I met someone.' He texted her and fell back asleep.
Ted woke the next morning, to a Text from Dallas, and another Dozen from Trish. He answered, Dallas's first. 'Back at you sexy!' he opened the Trishes message, she wanted the juicy details, age pictures, how hot is he is.
'His name is Dallas, he is a sexy beast, and around my age.' he fired off.
He responded to Dallas's Blush emoji, with a kissy face, and hug. He remembered he got a job yesterday, looked at his clock, it was still early eight-ish. Realizing he didn't know when to show up, he got ready for his day, and headed to the park, today in his car.
"Well, Not bad..." Buck chuckled. "I expected you here around noon..." Ted chuckled, knowing it was around Ten. "You two boys have fun last night?"
"Yea we did.." Ted started excited, then paused. "...You set us up, Didn't you?" Ted recalled the slightly off-ness of Bucks's comments.
Buck chuckled and shook his head. "Nah, I just bumped one hormonal gay boy, into another, and nature did the rest." He chuckled. Ted blushed. "Well, I was your age once too, a long time ago, but I still remember." He motioned Ted to Garage. "Let's show you how to mow."
Ted didn't need to be shown how to use a riding lawn mower, he did need a lesson in Buck's 'ways', which were set in stone, but not difficult. The line maker, though was a bit more complicated, it wasn't hard to use, just needlessly overcomplicated Ted thought, but like Buck said, you couldn't argue with the results. Buck reminded Ted of the grandfather he never knew, or what Ted thought he'd be like. Buck was a bit sagely if you looked past all the cliches, which Ted was fond of anyhow.
"Now we aren't going to draw lines on any of the other fields, today..." Buck sighed. "I don't draw lines for practice." Buck said sternly with an equally stern nod. "But now you know, how... Why don't you mow, the rest of the fields, for Friday night." Buck looked at Ted, looking for some kind of understanding.
"Well, it's Wednesday, so the grass can grow a day between the games." Ted speculated, buck nodded. "Why?"
Buck nodded. "It's easier on the grass, and looks a bit nicer, I think." Ted nodded and took the mower around the fields and grassed areas between them. He found a broom and swept the sidewalks, for good measure.
"I knew you were worth the $22.50." Buck chuckled when Ted put the broom away.
"Oh?" Ted asked puzzled.
"Most kids your age, aren't worth paying much more than $13 an hour." Buck nodded as if Ted was supposed to understand. "I didn't tell you to sweep the sidewalks, to be honest, there probably wasn't really a need to, or you could have used the blower." Buck pointed to it hanging on the wall. "But you swept it up anyway, you do work the right way, without being told or asked."
"I try!" Ted nodded confidently.
"Your boy plays tomorrow." Buck nodded, wrapping up the day.
Ted blushed. "I don't think we're dating..." Ted stammered, Buck smirked. "...Yet."
"Keep telling yourself that, kiddo." Buck chuckled. "Let's get a coke." Buck walked towards the stand. "Can I get you something else..." Buck sighed noticing there was none. "I forgot the driver said he was out of coke." Ted groaned. "I have no clue how Coke could run out."
"Your driver is Percy?" Ted asked. Buck nodded a bit confused.
Ted took out his phone, and called Jeff, Percy's manager. "Jeff." He groaned. "I am at four-leaf Ballpark, and Percy 'ran out of Coke' for us here." He let Jeff ask the obvious question. "I am here helping, for the summer, and it turns out your coke plant can't make enough coke for us here either!" He nodded, and let Jeff send out a truck first thing tomorrow, and hung up.
"We will have coke tomorrow at Nine am." He nodded at buck.
Buck applauded. "Now I think you were a steal at 22.5." He smirked. Handing Ted a Dr. Pepper. The two sat on a bench. "I want you to go see his game tomorrow." Buck nodded.
"I can watch from the stand." Ted nodded.
"He is a much better player than he thinks." Buck sighed. "Just needs a bit of self-confidence." He concluded.
"A cheerleader." Ted nodded.
"Of sorts." Buck nodded. "What did you boy's do last night?" Buck saw the terrified look on Ted's face, and concluded, that the two had gone all the way, for the first time. "I'm not looking for details, you don't want to give."
"Oh..." Ted nodded. "We stopped and got some Mcdonalds..." Buck chuckled. "Neither of us was sure the other, was gay, and it is a safe bet."
"Nice cover." Buck nodded. "I mean it, you weren't sure, so you took him someplace cheap, and..." He paused looking for a word.
"Edible?" Ted suggested.
Buck chuckled and nodded. "Did you offer to pay?"
"I paid, He told me he didn't have money for this, and I explained that I did, and Mcdonalds was cheap, and I was planning on it."
"Smooth."
"Thank you." Ted nodded.
"Then you went to your house?" He nodded.
"Yea, we watched a tv show, and cuddled, and..." Ted paused to think. "We had sex..." HE blushed.
"I don't need the details." Buck plugged his ears. "I am glad though, you two had a good night..." He winked.
Ted scoffed and rolled his eyes. "But Buck..." He sighed. "Thanks, I haven't felt happy in a long time."
Buck frowned. "I know Kid." He sighed. "I bet you got a hot date or something planned." He stood changing tones. "You better get home and take a shower, and get on that. See you tomorrow at Nine." Ted called Dallas, Ted arranged to pick Dallas up, on the moped, in about an hour, and the library, They both agreed it would be inconspicuous to meet.
"What do you want to do?" Dallas, asked adorably Koyly.
"I don't care, you could read..." Ted searched for a word to fit. "Out of the encloypidea, and I'd be happy..." Dallas chuckled. "Well, that actually sounds kinda interesting, so it's a bad example..."
Dallas laughed. "Yes, if we start with science history, I'd say buy an encolypidea...." He let a sigh. "If they still make them." He pondered.
"I was thinking dinner and a movie?" Ted suggested.
"Dinner, a movie, and a walk along Green creek?"
"Lets call it a date." Ted grinned like an idiot pulling into his driveway.
His dad was sitting in his old sheif truck waiting for him. "Afternoon, dad." Ted said jokingly serious like he always did when his dad showed up 'dressed; for work.
"Old Rick said he saw you had a friend on the back of your bike last night." He smiled.
"He had a helmet on." Ted protested.
"Oh it was a he." His dad smirked, ted tried to swallow the lump that had formed, his dad was on a fishing trip. "Did he stay the night?"
"DAD!" Ted groaned.
"You know your mom and I think that would be a good thing, a boy your age has a boyfriend."
"Yea, well we just kinda hung out last night, we are going for dinner, a movie, and a walk around green creek, in a bit." Ted nodded.
"Good man!" The sheriff tipped his hat at his son. "What you been up to?" He nodded at Ted. "You haven't been working like that at the store have you?"
"Oh." Ted sighed looking at his dirt-covered clothes. "Nah, Trish said I needed a vacation, so I drove up by the new ballpark, Ended up with a summer job, doing odd jobs, pays pretty well."
"Ted, son..." He paused. "Take a step back from work, spend time with this boy... What was his name?"
"Dallas, and I am, infact I met him there, and Buck, my boss, introduced us, and wants me to go cheer him on tomorrow, at his game."
The sherif nodded, piecing the details together. "So, he knows your gay, and that your 'friend is gay, and is rooting for you?"
"Mor or less." Ted nodded. "He is too, I think he is an old hopeless romantic." Ted answered his father's question.
"Your a good judge of character, but be careful son..." he smirked. "Bring him by the house some time, you do remember the way, your mom and I would love to meet him."
Ted rolled his eyes. "Yes just down the street." He ran in showered and got Dallas. Now that Ted wasn't working, Dallas was all he could think about. Seeing him, being with him, Dallas holding on to him, the hour or so ride over, Then his mind went to being in bed with him again. Making love to him, for a few minutes, being one with him, for a few minutes. By the time he got to the library, he couldn't stand.
"Hop on." He smirked at Dallas handing him, the extra helmet. "I've always wanted to say that." He beamed.
Dallas giggled. "I've always wanted a mysterious older guy on a bike to say that to me." He blushed.
"How old do you think I am?" Ted asked, taken back. Ted was pretty sure he wasn't that much older than Dallas.
"Maybe nineteen." Dallas guessed. "How old do you think I am?" Dallas grinned back.
"Seventeen the youngest." Ted guessed confidently.
"I am just eighteen. And you are?"
"Almost nineteen." Ted answered, more guessing that is what Dallas ment.
"So not older by much, but technically." Dallas smirked hopping on the back of the bike.
Dallas held on to Ted tightly, and couldn't hide the fact that apparently, he had been thinking about last night too from poking into Ted's back. He became less and less concerned about hiding it the ride over. They ate at a Chinese place, they both liked and saw the newest scifi, It was seven by the time, the movie was out, still too hot for a walk, so they rode outside of town, and back to the creek after sunset.
They sat in a secluded spot, behind a few bushes, where the creek moved over some rocks so they could talk. "Do you watch porn?" Dallas asked.
"I think every guy does." He chuckled. "Don't you?"
"Yea, do you ever watch the videos where they have sex, in places like this?"
I Don't know what's hotter." Dallas sighed contently. "The fact my cum is on your chest, or your cum is leaking onto my..."
"Definitely the last one...." Ted interrupted, with a kiss, to Dallas's forehead. "Because we both know how it got there." Dallas squirmed and nuzzled into Ted's chest.
