Marine Corps Stories: Just, Righteous and True
Marine generals plot further action against hostiles.

“They say that we’re a paper tiger. Well, let’s let loose the real lion against Iran. Let us continue to bring war to them in an overwhelming, stifling, and suffocating way,” General Wainwright said. She drew up a finger and drew the contours of Tehran, Iran. Each point glowed like embers in the air.
“We’ve already struck here and here,” she said about Riyadh and Mashhad, Iran. “We can devastate all of the weapons that the Iranians house. I’m not above using the Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB). It’ll be a lot cheaper than a nuke and potentially more effective.”
Major General Brandt circled the digital figure suspended in the room.
“It’s a little like Saudi Arabia, no?” he said.
“It’s something like it, Paul,” Misha said. We will we level every ounce of the Iranians’ will to fight. We will crush their will power. The two countries including Saudi Arabia will then bow down to America as we make them into allies. They will incur the full wrath of the most powerful military in human history.”
Misha walked around the table. Lieutenant General Tasha Spraic spoke. “We’ve knocked out all of the other countries that posed no real threat to America. This just might work, General.”
“It’s going to have to work. Our young men and women in uniform deserve decisive leadership. We have hundreds of years of experience amongst the general ranks of the United States Armed Forces. We ought to put all of that knowledge to the protection of individual lives and property. Our enemy’s goal is to annihilate us. We have to deliver on the promise to the Marines already in Tehran that we will win swiftly and bring them home safe and sound, with speed,” she said.
Brandt shook his head. “Maybe we need more time for this, ma’am.”
Misha whirled around and looked at Brandt incredulously. “Now is the optimum time for us to hit them with complete and unwavering force. For all of the evils that that nation has perpetrated against the US, it is high time that we show them the same gratitude that they’ve displayed over the past few decades. Our entire focus should be on crippling and dismantling a corrupt government and instituting one that is just, righteous and true.”
Tasha talked again. “General, we have our Marines ready and intent on getting ‘some more action.’ All we have to do is pull the trigger and have the world watch the pistol smoke.”
Misha smiled. “I like your thinking. I like that. We Marines have prepared ourselves to do battle. Hell, we’ve been in combat as lieutenants and captains. So, we know what that platoon leader is thinking. She’s thinking, ‘I may have to fight this menace, but I’ve got enough confidence to fulfill any task or whatever may come my way.’ That’s the spirit of a Marine. Since we already have some presence in Iran, we can extend our focus and just extinguish all of their jihadists and more. We ought to hit from the youngest crawling to the oldest walking. We must not let years of altruism ruin our chances to disrupt and destroy a malicious and malignant cancer upon the body of the world.”
Brandt ran down from where the two women generals deliberated.
“Paul, where are you going?”
“Ma’am, I don’t know if I can handle this way of thinking. The Iranians are a people that may not be like the Germans and Japanese after World War II. Or even the American South following the Civil War. They might continue to hold a hatred for America that might be even more vicious than it is today.”
Misha laughed lightly. “Paul, sit down. Come back up here and sit down.” Brandt abided.
Now, the lesson that we learned from those wars was the fact that economics is the key. We took in the former enemies’ cars, gaming consoles, mobile devices, knife sets among a whole host of other products. Before then, the South was absorbed into a semi-capitalist system. Trade remained the key after those conflicts. The same could be said for Iran. In Tehran, there are people that will survive and contribute to the betterment of our digital revolution. Now, do you see?”
Brandt nodded his head “Yes. I do, ma’am.”
“Good. we’ll have a surge of ground troops and the MOAB dropped on the center of Tehran.”
The glowing board which Misha used to illustrate her plans vanished along with the Generals to their respective offices.
