A Very Short Story With One Syllable Words Only
Okay, well, maybe something more than one syllable in parenthesis

The Exercise — Write a short story using words of only one syllable.
The Objective - To make you conscious of word choice
Pipes froze to our tub and pot (how do you say this with out toilet, bathroom or potty). Good thing will still have a place to go for this.
-33 is what it is out on this day. That is cold! Flush, run water in the sink and tub. Good thing we have two rooms for those things. One is good yet.
When I was a girl, a lot of folks had to go to an out house. It was a hole in the ground with a house built up above the hole, with a seat with a hole to go in.
The one that will freeze in our house most of the time is good. It's not froze this year. Or not yet this year. My guy will not leave the house at this time of year. He says, "I don't want to come home to a shit show."
Just so, we will have a place to go. Love that man! Wow, this is tough! I will stay home too. No shops, or work, or school for me! Get out of Minn. with ICE, I say!
I would hate to write like this all of the time. It is tough. An end to this short. Back to my book!

When I first saw this, I thought of Trump because he uses tiny words because he has a tiny brain. Hilarious about the shit show. Great job on this one syllable exercise. I might try it (if I remember, LOL). I’ll bookmark this one. ❤️
