Forgotten Women in Comics
If you haven’t heard of it yet, my biggest pride and joy is my podcast Lady Comic Book History. I poured lots of time, effort and research into it and whenever I can get an episode out, I do. It's important work that means a lot to me and I feel so strongly about it that I am turning the idea of Lady Comic Book History into a book. I want the forgotten women of comics to be documented, recognized and remembered. That said I am going to start doing lists like this, consider them teasers as to the characters that I will be discussing in my book. And please listen to my podcast to find out about other incredible ladies that I have already talked about.

What Makes a Movie Bad?
So I clearly do a lot of media analysis, but before I start doing in depth video essays I think it's important to share how these pieces of media are being judged. What exactly makes a movie or tv show bad? There are many objective and subjective criteria; yes you can objectively analyze art and I genuinely don’t care who says otherwise. If a movie or it's elements are racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise bigoted it's objectively bad. Period, no discussion, that point of analysis isn’t up for debate.

WTF Endings
If you’re here it's because you love TV and that means that you have probably stuck with a show long enough to witness it become absolutely terrible. Normally this is a result of a TV show running for too long. The creatives didn’t have an ending in mind, the network forced them to keep going and then creative chaos ensued…and not in a good way. We can all name a show that we loved, we were dedicated too and then it got bad. I’m here to name a few, so here we go.

Shows That Were Canceled Too Soon
In the world of television a show that goes on for the exact right amount of time is a rare occurrence, more often than not the show goes on too long and loses its way or it's actually good and gets canceled way too soon. Here we discuss the shows that were pulled before their prime. In this list we aren’t even touching the shows that were attempted and canceled by streaming services, these were forgotten and beloved shows from the network days of TV.

Friends
So in my analysis of the How I Met Your Mother, Friends and New Girl characters there are some groupings that are very obvious and some that are a bit of a stretch but the most glaring thing that came up is that Chandler doesn’t really fit in properly with any of those groups. So he gets his own article all by himself…

Antman and the Wasp; Quantumania
Every time a Marvel movie is finally released the internet explodes, the trend now is to immediately shit on it whether the quality of the movie is good or bad. Reality is nothing to the internet so of course when Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania came out the internet did its thing. Now I saw this one a little later than normal so all I heard was how terrible this movie was and I am convinced that that opinion came from people who didn’t have the faintest clue who Kang was before this movie, thereby they needed this movie and their opinion is invalid. The reality of the film is that it was an Antman movie, nothing spectacular but it definitely was not bad.

HIMYM, New Girl and Friends
Phoebe, Marshall & Winston The Comic Relief Yes it seems that this title should go to Chandler, but the reality is though he was funny he wasn’t really on the show for comic relief. What these characters have in common is quirks and inconsequentialism. They all get their own storylines of course, but they all seem separate from the rest of the group, nothing they do truly has any effect on anyone else.

Cocaine Bear
So I have been so excited for Cocaine Bear since I first saw the trailer, when I found out it was based on something real I wanted to see it even more because the very idea of a black bear for realsies high on cocaine is hilarious. Lots of films we've seen lately have been intellectual and have made statements (or at least attempted to) and this movie was clearly just for entertainment and I was super ready to just shut my mind off for an hour and a half, so let's get to it…
