I will listen to my body signals and obey in the New Year
A New Year will soon be upon us and I decided long ago to not make resolutions that I could not carry out. This year my goal is simple and it is to take blocks of time when possible in order for my body to refresh itself. I might take a nap, or sit with my feet up. I may watch a movie and make sure I do not get up during the entirety of the film. Another option is to read a book for a solid hour without being disturbed.

This classic is now 25 years old and still filled with wonder as Santa Claus is near the tree as Red and Yellow M&M's walk into the room. Red says "He does exist" and Santa replies "They do exist" and both faint. This implies that each believes the other is only a myth until they come face to face.

Mama Mia that's a spicy meatball
Alka-seltzer: A memorable commercial A television commercial came to mind today that I thought was promoting Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs. When I looked it up the 1969 ad was actually for Alka-Seltzer. This just shows how the mind can forget some details over a period of 5 decades. The actor in the ad was Jack Somack who was in two Broadway plays, Paris Is Out!, and The Prisoner of Second Avenue.
