How Do We Receive A Compliment?
Who was the last person you expressed gratitude toward and how was it received? Just before I started to write this, I was texting with a friend. She had just returned to the States from Mexico. She was pleased that the border only took them 15 minutes. I welcomed her back and then thanked her for her Tupperware donation to my fundraiser.

It Felt Like A Movie. Top Story - April 2024.
Describe a moment in your life that felt like a movie. After a respiratory code, I was placed on a respirator and in an induced coma. When they decided to bring me out of that, it felt like I was being tortured, as my hands were tied and my face was covered with a mask. A man was sitting next to me that I didn't recognize.

Good Friends
There was a friend from high school who saw me in an open meeting for alcoholics, families, and friends. She was crying. I thought she might be comforted by knowing someone. Wrong, she cried harder and as she pointed at me she said, “I knew you would be here!”
