Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995)
It's no secret that first-person shooters are popular, and they've been popular for years now. While franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield have certainly made their mark, there was one game that really kicked things into high gear. That game was, of course, 1993's Doom. Now, why is it Doom and not Wolfenstein 3D? After all, Wolfenstein 3D came out in 1992, a whole year before Doom Guy was killing demons on Mars.

Call of Juarez: A Good Western Experience
The early 2000s were a good time for videogames, with games like Hitman and Splinter Cell changing the landscape of the medium. One series that really took off was, of course, the Call of Duty series. The third entry in the CoD series was quite successful, but it wasn't as successful as the other, similar titles that were on the market at the time.

Crime Chronicles: The Great Maple Syrup Heist
Welcome back to Crime Chronicles! So far, we’ve had body snatchers, nurses, nobles, and a couple of really nasty serial killers. Considering the brutal assault on the psyche that was the previous entry, I think it’s time we cover a different crime; one that’s perhaps more…amusing. How about a heist story? Just for something different? How is a heist funny? Well…it’s not so much the crime itself as it is the bounty.

5 Underappreciated Christmas Films

Blood on the Covers
The last entry in our series, Murder in the Cheap Seats, saw us prowling around in back alleys exploring crime and detective stories. Hardened detectives chasing crooks, killers, and femme fatales were a common trend and were very popular. Not all pulp stories, however, worked the streets. Occasionally, these tales would venture into darker places, graveyards, crypts, and other shadowy locations where horrors lurked.

Medal of Honor (2010) is Intense
So, I've done a couple of Call of Duty reviews recently, and I've had an absolute blast with them so far - yes, that pun was intended. As fun as that has been, however, I wanted to cover a game that doesn't really get much attention anymore. This is Medal of Honor!

Scooby Doo on Zombie Island
Well...we've been doing a lot of horror films lately, but none of them are exactly kid-friendly. With that said, I figured we should do at least one film for the kiddos. Now, what movie should we do? How about visiting one of Scooby Doo's many adventures?
