Dear Hodgy
Dear Ashlyn Nora-Sue Hodges aka Hodgy, Of course I was gonna call you by your full government. That’s just how we roll. I call you by your full name because you always call me by my full name. These are just some of the little puns we throw at each other, but it’s all out of love and one of the many reasons I am grateful for you.

A letter to Brandon
Dear Brandon, I honestly don’t know how I’m gonna start this letter, so I’m just gonna wing it. So me and you have a common person, Peggy. It was a little over a year ago when my adoptive mother first introduced me to you. She had just been through a big new shift in her life and you ended up being part of that shift. I’ll never forget the day she first told me about you.

Dear Peggy. Top Story - November 2024.
Dear Peggy, I would’ve titled this story “Dear Mama” but I know Peggy annoys you more. From me to you I guess you’ll remember the season of Thanksgiving as one of the main events when I come by your house and eat up all your food, especially banana pudding, but as shocking as it may be, Thanksgiving is also the time when I reflect on how thankful I am to have you as a mother.

Dear Vocal
Imagine this: It’s February of 2022 and at my Wednesday night bible study a friend sparks up a conversation about how she’s interested in writing children’s stories online after learning that certain sites like Amazon are willing to pay you to do so. Me being an aspiring writer I was currently searching for an outlet where I could stretch my writing muscles and put them to credible use. So this made me get online and start searching for sites where I could get paid for my written work online and what did I end up finding? Vocal.media and ever since I first made this discovery my life as a writer has been an amazing journey.
