How A Scene Cut From 'Ahsoka' Is Dividing 'Star Wars' Fans
One of the most important events to take place in Ahsoka is the return of the Jedi Ezra Bridger. Following a heroic sacrifice which results in his disappearing into the Unknown Regions of space with Grand Admiral Thrawn and a pod of Purrgil in the finale of Star Wars: Rebels, Ezra has spent nearly a decade with a New Republic status of 'Missing, feared dead' when Ahsoka begins. However, in the series' sixth episode, after having travelled to the new Galaxy as a hostage of their enemies, Sabine Wren locates Ezra living on the planet Peridea among the nomadic, crab-like Noti people. In the finale, Ezra becomes the only one of our three major heroes to make it home, after Sabine force-hurls him into Thrawn's departing ship.

Teva, played by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, started out as a minor recurring character in The Mandalorian, but has grown in importance across the three shows, as he develops a frustration with the New Republic's lack of capacity to provide help wherever it is truly needed the most. This prompted his decision to covertly enlist Din Djarin to oust a Pirate invasion on the independent planet Nevarro, and now, to join General Hera Syndulla on an unauthorised mission to rescue Ahsoka and Sabine.

Why Ahsoka's Easy Defeat Of Marrok Makes Perfect Sense

Some believed Marrok would be revealed as the missing Ezra Bridger, having fallen to the Dark Side following his disappearance in the final episode of Star Wars: Rebels. Others thought he may be Galen Marek/Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret Apprentice from the Force Unleashed video games, thus setting up a confrontation between Anakin Skywalker's Jedi and Sith apprentices.
