More of my Color Art
The following pieces of 'color art' for that is what I call my pieces of art. They are drawings from adult coloring books and in the future some children's coloring books that I color for mainly relaxation and creativity. The mediums I use are mainly crayons and colored pencils and at times magic markers. At any time, you can leave your comments on my work for I would really like to know what you think. Whether on the technique or just on what you feel and see in the images. One of my favorite hobbies to do at times.

A Sad Fourth of July
In a place where there used to be picnics, fireworks and many people now there is nothing but rotting picnic tables and shelters falling down where the people used to watch the fireworks. No one knows what really happened or why it just seemed to just stop. Could it have been that there were just too many rules or was it just too expensive to continue. No one really knows. The Fourth of July a day of excitement and fun is now only a memory of days gone by no longer a day of fun, but one can still remember.

Hot Spell
Another hot and humid day in the Deep South. What to do when you walk out your front door at 6AM and you are slammed in the face with a hot breeze even before the sunrise, but you got to do what you got to and your dog needs to do something, so you walk your dog. It's so sultry outside that all the windows in the house are condensed in water for you have the AC on consistently just to stay cool. Oh, these hot and humid days of a Southern summertime makes you wish for a good snowstorm.

My Writing projects working on
One morning I was thinking over some ideas for writing as well as going through some old college and graduate school notes and old papers that I wrote for school. Well going through those why not somewhat re-write them and post them here. My first will be my first graduate school paper that is titled 'My Educational Autobiography'. I am also thinking of re-answering some of the discussion questions as well for some articles too. Most of those will be about 'andragogy' or 'adult education' for that is mainly what I went back to school for to become a 'professor'.

Happy Birthday!!!!
Happy Birthday to me! I am a person that does not want to be the center of attention not even on my birthday or really anytime. Oh, I had birthday parties back then, but for some reason I just wanted it to be like any other kind of summer picnic. There were presents and cake and ice cream but as a treat. I am now 61 years old, and I had a very quiet birthday just reading and writing and that was fine by me. Birthdays are our days to what we want to do. I had a quiet day.

July 1, 1964
July 1 is Canada Day sort of Canada's Independence Day, I believe, but actually July 1, 1964, is my birthday. This is the month of the dog days of summer as well as our Independence Day. Believe it or not I chose the image of the flag and soldiers for I was born the month that Americans started to be sent to the Vietnam War and all those issues Vietnam caused. Canada Day is Canada's day of freedom and for those who need to make some serious choices in their lives. Thank you soldiers for protecting the baby I was.

Dork Drabble #14
Dork Drabble #14 and the question is 'If your life were a classic fairy tale which one would it be and why? For this one I am not really sure, but at times I think maybe 'Rumpleskiliton' or maybe 'The Three Bears' or maybe not a fairy tale but a nursery rhyme "Where has my little dog gone" (Do not remember this title). My other idea that my life could be 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' for the troll under the bridge is the one keeping me from completing what I need to do for each day in some way.

Dork Drabble #13
For Dork Drabble #13 the question is for February 15 is 'Your school is putting on a play! Would you rather be the star of the show, the director, or the costume designer? Actually, out of these three I would be the costume designer, but I would prefer to be on the crew for set design. Being part of the artistic portion of the play that does not require acting and lines to memorize. Costume or set designer is a very creative and on opening night you can relax till time to change the scenery and hoping nothing falls down.
