The Ghosts of Europe. First Place in Cursed Images Challenge.
During the filming of Ghosts of Europe in 2017, I had the pleasure of being the lead photographer. This meant I got to visit a variety of scary places including the site of the worst nuclear disaster in human history, the home and death place of Europe's most prolific female serial killer, and of course the resting place of black death victims in the city considered to be the Witches Capital of the world.

Recruiters: Your Ghosting Is Actually Damaging
It’s spooky month! Plastic pumpkins are appearing, talking skeletons are on the rise and costume sales pick up… but there is another spooky phenomenon that can also be found, but not just in October. It’s an all-year-round ordeal.

Facing the Imposter
Who am I? Who am I really? If I don’t know then surely I’m a fraud, a fake. An imposter. I’m lying to myself and everyone around me. I’m not as talented as I think I am. My achievements are flukes. I’ve somehow managed to fool everyone around me. I’m a lie and I deserve to be forgotten and thrown aside.

What 100+ rejections did to me when I was looking for work after graduation
I graduated from film school in December of 2019 but I’d finished the degree in October that same year. I remember feeling excited and relieved that it was all finally over. We had spent our last semester working our asses off to produce an “industry standard” film and we were all exhausted.

Straight Outta Film School — PT2
So, to summarise my previous article: It was a hilly journey. I went through a major emotional overhaul of my life. Film school had many challenges that left me feeling unconfident in my skills but then helped me regrow my roots and also as a filmmaker. Film school had missed many marks that my colleagues and I discovered too late and entered our final semester feeling unprepared. Film school was preparing us for a Hollywood-esque happy ending that wasn’t necessarily relevant to all of us. I found what I wanted to do with my degree which was to help small businesses with video marketing Got my diploma in marketing I don’t regret film school. The experience wasn’t perfect but I still loved it.
