My Vocal Bad
Image from Pinterest Introduction You may think that this is going to be a negative post, it will hopefully be seen as positive and supportive to everyone in the Vocal Facebook Groups and that immediately has given me an idea. I often list my favourite Vocal Groups at the end of some of my posts. If I take that list and turn it into a pseudo poem then I can just attach it to relevant posts going forward, so it will appear here as well.

🦋 The Vocal Facebook Groups Who I Love 🦋
I often share my favourite Facebook Vocal Groups when I post about related information, so I have decided to turn it into an informative poem, that can be included at the end of any post where it could be deemed useful.

Madness - The Business - A Greatest Hits And More With A Difference
Introduction To Madness - The Business Well that is exactly what this is. It is another that briefly went on my Discogs sale pile, and when I gave it a last listen it came straight off. It contains their early hits and best songs and was issued in 1993 by Virgin.

Slavery Days - Burning Spear - Remembering What Was Before Juneteenth
A Brief Intro I have always been a fan since I first heard Burning Spear when I bought “Man In The Hills” just for its striking cover from NEMS in Rumbelows in Liverpool. I certainly wasn't disappointed with it.

Heroes - Covers of a Great David Bowie Song
Introduction - Why I Decided To Write This I was going to listen to my David Bowie Platinum Collection while I was working and as I took the CD box out another CD slipped out, an Uncut compilation of David Bowie covers. There were some interesting ones closing with Mercury Rev’s cover of the coda from “Memory of a Free Festival” which was taken by Dario G as the uplifting dance song “Sunchyme / SunMachine”.

Plagiarists Are The Serial Shoplifters of The Art Community
Introduction I am always worried that I will be called out for plagiarism. Sometimes I borrow quotes that have been borrowed and borrowed and borrowed, but I always try to credit sources if it is possible. The irony of this is that every time Vocal have knocked me back for plagiarism it is where I have credited the source.

Chris Morton - A Life In Design
An Interview With Chris Morton Although I was familiar with his work, I first met Chris Morton at his exhibition at the Baltic in High Bridge with my friend Katie and we got chatting and I asked if he would do my artist interview. He is a great guy and sent me a full interview which you can enjoy below.

Once There Were Nine, Now There Is One (For Me)
Image source here The text below is taken from Greek Mythology - The Muses. It is the reason for this poem along with a tenth Muse who is the one who inspires me to create every day. I believe everyone knows who that is and without her, I would not be writing.

Pussy Cats Galore
Cats, Cats, Cats and More Cats It is possible that “Pussy Cats Galore” will be seen as clickbait in this age of the double entendre which has been with us for hundreds of years, and the word Pussy has become almost a single entendre, though for me a pussy is a cat. I first came across the name Pussy Galore in the 1964 James Bond film “Goldfinger” based on the 1959 book by Ian Fleming.
