A Vocal Centurion
This is my hundredth post on Vocal, should I do a poem or should I write about what I have learned or learnt or is it both or neither. English grammar can be a pain at times. I saw ads for Vocal sort of advertising untold riches , but this year I was scaling down my writing on by blog Seven Days In and that has gone down to around one a week (but 100 posts so far this year , down from my biggest year when I averaged more than one a day.

My 911
Around September the 10th 2001 I was flying over the East coast of the USA to touch down in Mexico for a two week holiday. I was working for a company called SSS who provided IT support for Morgan Stanley who had a big presence in the World Trade Centre. My mate Jim was flying over for a work and holiday week in New York with some other SSS guys.

Love Is
I love it when my friends and people I know are happy for whatever reason. This is for them. As this is about being happy I am gonna reuse my video of me playing my favourite Rolling Stones song "Happy" just in case you want to find out how bad I am (that is bad as in bad , not bad as in good) but you can buy the original from the link at the bottom.

Consumerism , Negativland and Pepsi
Coca Cola or Pepsi or Coke or Negativland It's 3AM and because it's Saturday I don't really have to get up for a few hours. Yesterday I had to get up for work and I was really tired, but when you don't have to get up , you can be up during the night and do things like write blog posts. I'm sitting here with a bottle of Coke, well Diet Coke (though I have just noticed it only mentions the name Coca-Cola in very small writing on the label.

My Favourite Album - Future Games By Spirit
I’ve had an idea to maybe review and say why I like certain albums and then to share my observations and this is going to start with my all time favourite album “Future Games” by Spirit. I own it on vinyl and CD and have it on my phone for when I am walking out. 44 years on it still really moves me, with it’s psychedelic non stop programming (there are no breaks between songs, and while that has been done before - Think Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon and a lot before that) it is a truly special album. By the time of its release Spirit was being driven by the ethereal voiced guitarist Randy California with help from his drummer father in law Ed Cassidy (alter ego mad raconteur Jack Bond on Spirit albums).
