Controversial Parenting
It takes two to make it and two to break it. That’s the saying, right? So why is it that when children are growing up and parents split up, the blame game starts. Deadbeat fathers is all you hear. But what about a deadbeat mother? No one ever talks about that. You become a mother the day you find out you are pregnant and then the baby is born.

Keep it Real
A lot of people look down on drug addicts and alcoholics. Why? Because society portrays them as negative people for the lifestyle that they lead. But. I’m going to tell you something. Call me crazy, but they are the realest people I know. They are honest about who they are and what they do, and they don’t try to hide what they do.

The Monster in His/Her Eyes
You never know everything about someone. Even if you are married to them. We don’t even know everything about our own family members. But, the thing is, some people have the darkest secrets. And when they come to light, it’s a true omg moment.

Selfless vs. Selfish
The world has become a money-racket. What happened to brotherly and sisterly love? I’ll tell you. It went out the window. Some people only do something because they expect something in return. They don’t tell you that until after they have done what you asked them to do. It’s sad that everything has become about money.

Stop Pointing Fingers: You Have A Past Too
As a spiritual person, I think that people have the wrong idea of religion. People make you think you have to practically be perfect. What kills me is how people try to brow beat you with the bible. They call out scripture after scripture, condemn you to hell, everything they can think of. But you know the funny thing? They forget that they were once a sinner, or out in the world as I call it.

My Definition of Friendship
They say that you can count the number of friends that you have on your hands. Some of us have confided in people that we considered friends and we just knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that we had nothing to worry about because we thought they were our friends, not knowing that these same people were the main ones telling the entire world everything that we had told them. Unfortunately, most of us learned that the hard way.

Hiding Behind A Mask
Life is supposed to be full of surprises. New experiences. But nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to people. Some people are so hypocritical. The very thing that they are judging someone for is the same thing that they have done in the past or may even be doing right now. What do I mean? I’ll tell you. You have people that put on this mask as I call it. They put on a mask (hiding the real them) and then take it off (being who they really are).

Re-Evaluation
These days you can’t take things at face value. A person can say something to you, and you may take offense to it at the time. But take a moment to think about it. What did they really mean when they said it? Sounds stupid, I know. But I call it re-evaluation.

In Loving Memory: Losing A Loved One
Losing a loved one is difficult. People say, “just get over it” or “you need to move on”. That is easy to say when you are not the person dealing with the situation. There is no just get over it or you need to move on because the person that we cherished is gone. We have memories, good or bad but we do not just bounce back like that.
