Charming Canadian Castles
Toronto, Canada, is home to Casa Loma. The structure was built in 1911 by Sir Henry Pellatt in the Gothic Revival style. The castle has 98 rooms, 30 bathrooms, an electric elevator, a dining room that seats 100, three bowling alleys, a rifle range, soaring towers, winding secret passageways, an 800-foot tunnel for horses, and five acres of gardens. Pellatt’s financial problems during WWI left the castle in disrepair, and it was taken over by the Toronto City Council. Today it has become a major Canadian tourist attraction.

Your Wildest Dreams
The English rock band The Moody Blues just lost their singer, songwriter, and bassist John Lodge at the age of 82. Since I wanted to do an article about some of their top songs, this is in honor of his memory. The band was one of the most influential rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s and has left us with many iconic songs that are still popular today.

Incredible Arctic Ocean Animals
In the Water The sea angel is a pelagic sea slug that can be found on the surface of the water to a depth that is greater than 500 meters. These snails flap their delicate “wings” to get around in the water at a speed of up to 100 mm/s. Sea angels are tiny, and adults feed on their relatives, the sea butterflies. The sea angel then grasps the prey with its chitinous hooks and extracts the body of the sea butterfly out of its shell and swallows it whole.

Southern Comfort
Florida Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine is the oldest masonry fort in the continental US. The fort is more than 320 years old and educates visitors about the Spanish military life in the 1600s. There are many interesting interactive and educational elements here. Castillo de San Marcos is home to several preservation projects, among which the best known are the Cannon Preservation Project and the 3D Digital Documentation Project, which will benefit museums and historical preservation throughout the world.
