What If Gregory Allen Had Been Arrested For Another Sexual Assault During Steven Avery's Murder Trial
This information was actually found a couple of months ago. However I was awaiting responsive records from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections before making the post. It appears that the Wisconsin DOC when it comes to Gregory Allen is slow in providing a records response. I have made other requests of the Wisconsin DOC on other inmates since this request that have already been fulfilled so I figured that I would go ahead with the post and when I receive the additional records edit and add if needed.

On November 15, 2005 Steven Avery Was Arrested For The Murder of Teresa Halbach
I thought that it would be interesting to do a hypothetical list of questions that Steven Avery's attorneys Steven Glynn and Walt Kelly would likely have asked both Denis Vogel and Tom Kocourek. Perhaps if readers understand the wealth of information that had been uncovered by Kelly and Glynn up to and including Kusche's aka "The Pencil" deposition it would help them to recognize just how "concerned" Manitowoc County Sheriff's Officers as well as the Manitowoc County District Attorneys (current and former for both agencies) truly were at the end of October 2005.

Not A Popular Observation Yet It Is An Accurate Assessment Of the Facts
While it is extremely difficult to present a alternative suspect with supporting evidence due to the intentional lack of any victimology or retrieval of text messages from all and even phone records from many I will present a theory from the truth seeking side of the fence for discussion. As I think all in the Making a Murderer community are aware the only people who have benefitted from the disappearance and death of Teresa Halbach are the individuals who would have been negatively impacted by Steven Avery's civil suit depositions and the case as a whole continuing. There is a strong desire by the small subset who preach Steven and Brendan's guilt to diminish the impact the depositions and the lawsuit was having in the state of Wisconsin and especially in Manitowoc County. For those who may not be informed about liability and Manitowoc's very limited insurance coverage in 1985 when the intentional arrest and eventual conviction occurred there were only two insurance policies. (This has since been rectified and there are now many policies in place for the next lawsuit). There is a great OP on Reddit titled Ignore The Man Behind The Curtain with sources explaining the dire insurance issues facing Manitowoc County at the time Steven's civil suit was filed.

Joseph Wayne Evans And His Involvement In The Steven Avery Case
Many people who have followed Making a Murderer also know that Joseph Wayne Evans is a convicted murderer who not long after the debut of Making a Murderer on Netflix on December 15, 2015. Here is an imgur link to the first two letters-one is dated August 2016. https://imgur.com/a/KRZkp These letters are to simply put it bizarre and are packed full of weird and outrageous claims. It may be hard for some to believe that these letters were used for many months on social media platforms by the small group of devout guilt supporters as evidence against Steven and Brendan. Surprising to this group but not to the rest of the world when a supporter for Steven, Brendan and Teresa announced a $100,000.00 reward for information leading to the killer of Teresa Halbach Evans did a complete about face and decided to confess to th killing of Teresa and the framing of Steven Avery.

The Truth About The Steven Avery Case
Making a Murderer debuted on December 15 , 2015 on Netflix and was an instant success. Unfortunately for me I had been assaulted and had a traumatic brain injury that resulted in me having to undergo brain surgery aka a craniotomy- i can now honestly say that I have a screw loose as a result. I only mention this because I missed the MaM splash and did not watch the series until the second season was released in 2018. I was instantly hooked. I have followed Steven's post conviction attorney Kathleen Zellner for many years- the Riley Fox kidnapping and murder was the catalyst for my learning of Zellner and her phenomenal skills.
