Saving Private Ryan, Battle Of Britain, Dunkirk; there have been numerous war films throughout the years which have told the story of selfless bravery and strength endured by the men who fought in conflict. Harry Megxits Royal Life. Top Story - January 2020.
It is perhaps one of the most iconic pieces of Royal film ever: a 21-year-old Princess Elizabeth dedicating her entire life to the service of her people and further Commonwealth family. Her historic words – “my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service” – set a precedent for her reign, and in the near seventy years of service as Queen and Monarch, she has unflinchingly, stoically and tirelessly honoured each and every word.

Australia Is Burning
Australia is burning. It truly is that simple. Every day new footage, statistics and photographs emerge showing the rampant infernos which have devastated the length and breadth of the country. Twenty-three people are confirmed to have died in the apocalyptic blaze. Thousands have been left without homes, food or water; their memories scattered to the winds. Over half-a-billion wildlife have been destroyed, cattle euphonised; their burns too severe. The air is full of thick suffocating smoke dowsing out the sun. Australia is a mirror of hell on scorched earth and still Fire Service Officers enter the infernos, fighting to stop the prolonging cataclysms.

It would begin with an article in the magazine Vanity Fair, and tragically end within the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris.

Without Them
They stood shoulder to shoulder, ten men in a line, hands pressed to their foreheads performing a salute. After 75 years their salute was slower, their balance aided by walking sticks, their sight somewhat deteriorated, but still they stood surveying the applauding crowd before them.
