The night was May 20, 1885, that the candle burned in the window on that dark and stormy night. 20 years had passed since the American civil War, and traitors of the southern army were hunted down and killed…some by their own friends and commanders.

Dragon on the Valley (Pt 3)
[Captain’s Log Star date 94922.22 Things were quiet on the ship too quiet. We had a wedding ceremony celebrating the union of two of our lovely ladies, Kla and T’Pan who has changed her name to Lois, in honor of the wife of one Lois Lane-Kent, a figure from the late 20th and early 21st centuries who was married to a man some knew as Clark Kent others as Superman, yet others knew him simply as Kal-El.

Dragon on the Valley Pt. 2
Part 2 of 4 [We were in trouble -- serious trouble. On an attempt to return a white dragon to its proper environment, we held it in the cargo hold while my wife Michelle ran a shuttle back and forth to the Paradise Planet below. Unbeknownst to us until now, a 100-foot red dragon was also trying to get in. For what reason we weren’t sure, but it had targeted Michelle who it had started attacking her with a deadly flame that came from its mouth.]

Dragon on the USS Valley
[There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. Which raises the question why the hell would there be? After all the U.S.S. Valley NCC-99130 is a back water underrated starship that isn’t even commissioned to be able to fight our own battles as a rule. Heck the only weapons we have are defensive in nature and of course our personal weapons.

Mother's Day Gift
May 4th, 2022 Dear mom (& dad): This weekend is really going to be hard for me, as my birthday falls on Mother’s Day which kind of makes the 8th a special day for the both of us, then there’s dad’s birthday as well on the 10th I know I was a Mother’s Day gift to you. I also know I’m a twin-less twin, with the survival of the fittest…yadda, yadda. I was the winner. Big deal I would've been happier if the twin survived.

Murder on the Titanic
Joe Smith raced through the alleyways of Southampton trying to stick to the shadows and hidden entrances. Behind them was a large brute that weighed in at 300 pounds of pure muscle. Like a squirrel going up a tree, Joe made tracks up a fire escape, crossed over and made it to the other side. What they didn’t consider the fact that a second brute who anticipated the little detour was already on the other side waiting for them, and while he was waiting, began sucking on a lit cigar. The cigar when sucked on, caused the end to light up nice and bright.

Nearer my God to thee
From the Journal of William Johnson The Atlantic Ocean April 14, 1912 8:30 pm Ship’s Time My journey on the Titanic so far was a pleasant one, and the past four days have been some of the best I ever had. I should have kept a journal of those four days, but maybe when we touch land, I will try to recall the highlights of those four days. Although two of them were spent with the most beautiful woman I have ever met; I know her only as Lorraine.

My Freedom from Toxic Relationships
In researching for this article, I looked up the word “Freedom” on the Wikipedia website expecting to find some grandiose definition of the word. Instead, I found the following: “Freedom is understood as either having the ability to act or change without constraint or to possess the power and resources to fulfill one’s purpose.” The article then goes on to use a Norman Rockwell image titled “Four Freedoms” depicting the four core freedoms the United States fought for in WWII: Freedom of Speech; Freedom of Worship; Freedom from Want; and Freedom from Fear.
