The cameras don’t catch who’s walking the halls at night.
(Posted by u/NightShiftWatcher – r/TrueOffMyChest) I work night security at a mid-range hotel in Colorado. It’s one of those places that’s been remodeled a dozen times but still somehow feels old — too many corners that don’t line up, too many flickering lights that maintenance “can’t find a reason for.”

Meat Lover's Curse
Jason wasn’t a fan of the pizzeria’s latest menu addition: the "Ultimate Meat Lover's Special." It was an over-the-top creation piled high with every type of meat imaginable—pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, meatballs, and some unidentifiable ground meat that the manager swore was a "secret blend." UPDATE: The hotel laundry that runs itself after midnight

The hotel laundry has been running itself after midnight
I work laundry for a mid-range chain hotel — the kind with fake marble floors, “continental breakfast,” and carpets that smell faintly like wet dog no matter how often they’re shampooed. My shift’s usually 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., but I’m often the last one here. Nobody wants to be the person closing down the laundry room at night.

[UPDATE] I was the only one working the night shift… so who checked in Room 409?
Hey everyone, I didn’t expect my last post to blow up the way it did. I just needed to vent about something weird that happened at work, but apparently, it freaked a lot of people out.
