Tupac: Lord of Bringing Drama You Touch Me I’m At You!!!
Tupac is the most misoverstood artist in music history because most people do not get why he grew to be so combative and controversial. He is probably one of the most betrayed people in history by those who he once called friends. It was mostly out of their petty jealousy. Tupac was once attacked and nearly killed by a group that he formed and grew up with in Baltimore. But before all of that he moved to the west coast to Oakland as a teenager in a crack infested community where he dropped out of high school, sold drugs, but continued to develop his craft. He ended up getting his shot to become a member of the group of legendary old school hip-hop group “The Digital Underground.” There are many layers the genius of Tupac and there’s not enough words to do him justice but the meat of why he became the only true outlaw of hip-hop will be demonstrated in this illustration.

Timbaland, wanna collab?
“If at first you don’t succeed, brush yourself off and try again.” - Aaliyah As an independent artist-entrepreneur, these are words I live by. I first heard them beautifully sung by a voice like no other, the late great Aaliyah in her song “Try Again” from her self-titled album Aaliyah. At that point, I was a child, so I didn’t understand the intricacies of the music industry and the role of the songwriters and producers behind the scenes. So as much as I admire and love Aaliyah, this piece is not about her, it’s about the producer and co-writer behind the song, Timbaland.

Why Harry Styles Is the Most Famous One Direction Member
For someone who used to be in a boy band, Harry Styles does not make many public appearances. Even the "Behind the Scenes" videos for his music videos don't show much of his personalty. The "Golden" BTS video shows Harry talking only at the end, when he waves goodbye to fans gathered around the set. The rest of the video simply shows shots of the production, set to the song. No talking. No interviews or explanations. Just Harry running around.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty
Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20th, 1988. She's an Afro-Barbadian singer, actress, and successful businesswoman. Born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown, Barbados, Rihanna was discovered by American record producer Evan Rogers who invited her to the United States to record demo tapes. Rihanna started her career in singing in 2005 after signing with def jam and is now living her life as an amazing businesswoman running a billion-dollar company, if there’s one thing Rihanna knows how to do it’s investing in herself. She grew up in a three-bedroom bungalow in Bridgetown and sold clothes with her father in a stall on the street. Her childhood was deeply affected by her father's addictions, which contributed to her parents' strained marriage. Research states that Rihanna's father used to physically abuse her mother, and Rihanna would try to get in between them to break up fights. Rihanna was an army cadet in a sub-military program. Although she initially wanted to graduate from high school, she chose to pursue a musical career instead.

I'm crying Cuz I love you (and you helped me love myself)
“Why are men great until they gotta be great?” Have truer words ever been spoken when you’re in the midst of a breakup? I remember watching the movie, Someone Great, when I first heard the aptly named, "Truth Hurts" song by Lizzo. The iconic scene is depicted below, yet, little did I know the larger role Lizzo would play in my life.
