Does Twelve Inches Satisfy You?
Introduction In the 1970s, the vinyl record industry faced a shortage due to the oil crisis of 1973, which led to increased costs for the raw materials used to produce vinyl records. This resulted in thinner, less durable records being produced and, in some cases, delays or cutbacks in new releases. The shortage also impacted the quality of records, with some labels opting for cheaper pressing materials to reduce costs.

Home Again
Can someone say, Taylor Swift or maybe Kelly Clarkson even Sara Bareilles? That is the feel these lyrics gave me. The truest love and pain of youth and innocence. Heartbreak on the cusp of experience, molding how and who we would love in the future.

Just A Taste
I love the playful energy that floats throughout the song I have attached (Imagine Dragon - Ragged Insomnia) ** This is the kind of beat I imagined as I wrote these lyrics. Female or male vocalist with a strong blended harmony in the chorus and bridge, and it needs a strong drum beat. The verses are breathy and follow the strum of a bass guitar with the second verse building to the drum beat in the chorus.

The Di(e) In Indiana
These lyrics need a country twang and steady drumbeat, jumping to a fast paced guitar with multiple harmonies. Playfully flirty yet with a confident strength. She changed once to accommodate love and struggles with maintaining her own identity while still feeling pulled into his charms. She knows better and is determined to remind herself that she wants more than what he offers.

Why I Am Fine With Second Hand Vinyl
Introduction Several years ago my friend Marek at RPM in Newcastle persuaded me to buy a second-hand reconditioned record player. I was impressed by the looks and sound, he came and set it up and since then my vinyl record collection has increased significantly.
