Minimalist Skincare Saved My Skin
Throughout my teenage years, I struggled consistently with cystic acne. My whole face was covered in deep, painful cysts that wouldn't go away. Even when one spot cleared up, dark marks were left behind that took months to fade, so even on good skin days my face was still red and blemished, and I couldn't face going outside without makeup.

How To Protect Your Skin From the Sun Naturally
Sunburns, rashes, wrinkles, and, of course, skin cancer are all potential dangers of getting too much sun with too little protection. One important thing to do to avoid all this and more is applying sunscreen. You may know how to reduce sun damage after a sunburn, but there are many things you can do to protect your skin from the sun naturally and stave off any harmful effects of UV rays. Because while you want to avoid these dangers, you don't want to avoid the sun: it provides necessary things like vitamin D, as well as the warmth and light to have fun outdoors. Up your skincare routine, and take good care of your skin year-round so you don't have to hide. A diet rich in antioxidants, as well as other topically applied substances, can drastically reduce your risk of side effects from sun exposure.

Best Facial Mists for Glowing Skin
Especially on hot days, it can be difficult to avoid oily, acne-prone facial skin. For others, the summer heat can cause drying and peeling. While there is no shame in struggling with skin problems with the season changes, there is something you can do to make it better. One of the best ways to help dry skin during the summer is to get facial sprays.

An Acne Treatment to End All Treatments
What is one of the hardest parts about being a teenager and going through puberty? Acne. When you reach a certain age, you’d think that it would go away. You hope and pray that it’s only a phase and that you won’t have it forever. The lucky ones have it for a few years and maybe once in a while get a break out with stress of weather changes. Some of us, like me, aren’t so lucky.

Best Ways to Get Clear Skin! (ASAP)
1. Never Sleep Without Taking Makeup off First! Leaving makeup on overnight not only causes breakouts, but it also makes your skin super dry the next morning and makes your skin age faster. Keep wipes next to you in case you always have that "oh it's just once" habit and become lazy.

The Picture That Spoke a Few Thousand Characters
Meaningless notifications from the Linkedin app led me to my girlfriends profile; A beautiful black woman. After 10 seconds of scrolling the news feed, then 20 seconds of adding random people with cool pics, and titles, I see her. I had never seen this picture, and I was filled with a weird anxious feeling. I get like this whenever she posts pictures on Social Media, which is rare. Her popping up on my feed, is like an Easter Egg in a Marvel movie, or actually seeing a unicorn walk down the street. Its always a rare sighting, and I'm always freaked out for some reason. I texted her to tell her how beautiful the picture was, and how I felt seeing it, and then some more compliments; that I hope she enjoyed as well. I closed the apps, and went back to listening to The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi on YouTube.
