The Transformational Journey: Embracing The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
In the realm of self-help and spiritualist literature, few books have left an indelible mark on readers as profoundly as Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now. This is not your average self-help book, but it is instead a profound spiritual guide to living in the present moment. Tolle’s work has resonated with countless individuals seeking solace, meaning, and transformation in their lives. Among those individuals, I found myself drawn into Tolle's teachings, experiencing a profound shift in my approach to life. Following this book, I began to explore other teachers in manifestation, quantum physics, and spiritual enlightenment, including Neville Goddard. Through this essay, I will explore how The Power of Now has influenced my mindset and behavior, specifically focusing on how it has prompted me to adopt deliberate and mindful actions and has facilitated a deeper connection between my body and mind.

Pediatric Clinical Skills and Introduction to Epidemiology
As a Licensed Practical Nurse and educator I have just read a textbook entitled 'Pediatric Clinical Skills' Second edition that was written by Richard B. Goldbloom back in 1997. This textbook is actually a textbook for students studying to be registered nurses in some capacity or as a nurse practitioner. It is also a book that covers the various kinds of assessments that cover the whole body and all the systems from head to toe from the respiratory procedures to cardio to reproductive and hormones to the muscles and bones and even the skin.

Chelsea vs Liverpool
On Sunday, August 13, 2023, Chelsea and Liverpool marked their Premier League debut at Stamford Bridge with a 1-1 draw. The match featured a rapid start as Luis Diaz scored the quickest goal in Premier League history just 15 seconds into the game, courtesy of Trent Alexander-Arnold's ball recovery that set up the Colombian's finish. Chelsea responded in the 39th minute when Axel Disasi, making his debut, capitalized on a corner to equalize.

Egg & Spoon. Top Story - August 2023.
To say that I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately would be an understatement. For whatever reason, perhaps burnout, stress, or just a general sense of apathy, I haven’t been overly motivated to read (or I simply lose my focus after a few short pages).

The Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov
I didn't understand myself when I was growing up in the 'not so rich' Caribbean neighborhood of Waterloo (aptly named, because every year during the hurricane season, the Heavens opened up and rained down so much water, it washed the road and some houses away). Only later did I learn that we were living directly below a sugar cane 'plantation' where water was redirected as a runoff for the crop. Luckily, our little house was perched safely upon a questionable hill which barely kept us safe.
