I started writing a book today.
Linus April 23, 2023 Today I woke up and it was different. I’m just a dog, so there are some things I don’t understand, but I know when something is different. I can either smell, or taste, or feel the difference. And today something on my inside felt not normal anymore. It is not a bad feeling, and it doesn’t hurt but I know. This is how I know I am not a puppy anymore. When you are a dog, you are either Puppy for a lot of many years or Old. So, I think this means I am Old now.

I first wrote this novella in five parts for the Confessions community where it did not get a lot of reads. I was hoping it would do better in the Chapters community so I had it moved here. And now I am creating an index story so that all the parts can be accessed in one place.

How much of your body change every year
HOW MUCH OF YOUR BODY IS NEW EVERY YEAR Not tethered to the calendar, there may indeed be some validity to the notion. Consider when the body generates new components through the regeneration of the liver after partial donation or the unexpected growth of a new spleen. While humans may not possess the ability to regenerate lost limbs like certain animals, our capacity for self-renewal is more extensive than commonly recognized. This natural regeneration can occur organically or be guided with intent.
