Inter Milan: Key January Transfers
No one can deny that the team this year, on paper is leaps and bounds better than the year before as far as depth and new talent. The team has done amazingly well in the summer transfer period. Bringing in world talent and rising stars alike to bolster their previous years lack luster roster. Names like Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez highlight the well traveled additions to the squad. But the real genius pickups are the Stefano Sensi's and Nicolo Brella's. These players have proved themselves capable with their respective previous teams of turning a game on its head without a moments notice.

THE FA CUP 3RD ROUND
I was born in Portugal and from a very young age had an inexplicable passion for football in general and for S.L.Benfica in particular; born in F.C.Porto heartland with a family of their supporters there was no reason for my affiliation, much less the crying and refusal to feed myself when results weren't what I desired, thankfully I was young maybe not as young as you would like but young nevertheless.

But the Tuskers will still take the narrow 3-2 victory they held on for, and as long they keep the handy work with their feet going forward, the success should continue.

Football History 101
If we see that a Champions League game in on at 8.45 PM we head to the store, buy some snacks, switch to the channel the game is on and enjoy the rest of the evening. We watch a game surrounded by darkness, never thinking how it is possible that the stadium is illuminated like a Christmas tree. If we told this story to our ancestors who were pioneering football fans, they probably wouldn’t believe us. Modern sporting venues and especially football stadiums no longer depend on the time of the day because the floodlights are turned on at dusk. Have you ever wondered how this came about?

America Runs on Athletes
What makes a good soccer player? Is it a player’s ability to jump high and win every single header? Or perhaps it’s a player’s explosive speed into the open space? Could it be a player’s ability to bulldoze his or her way up and down the field using their strength?
